End of november? BBQ TIME AT 4AM!

So, legs of the dreadknight are done, slowly working my way up, looking at the arms and almost breaking down in tears... but this BBQ I'm grilling now sounds like a perfect plan, chicken and moose steak :D

Yay~ I finished both legs! and yes, I realise I'm super slow at painting it ._. but whatever.  I'll probably focus on it more soon :3

I've found a blog today.

It's a blog about my boss' cat, it's cute, I'd love to see my lazy cat do something like that.

PS: I've seen the kitten in real life, it's an adorable fluffy cat! I want to steal it.

Not dead!

I just kind of forgot about here, haven't been doing much, reading books, playing video games... finally got my gunship pieces, so as soon as I'm done building that Dreadknigth, I'll get on with that.

Blaze Zaku Phantom (Rose Knight Scheme)

I bought a Blaze Zaku Phantom which I'm painting to be the same as my Grey Knight scheme.  Slow process, but it's getting there.

It's going from that bright orange to the nice boltgun metal and I think I'll add gold trim to this, just to test out contrast, but yes, I really didn't like the orange.

Painting

I actually started my nemesis dreadknight, still no news on my stupid gunship though... I also added a few colors to my palette...
Hawk Turquoise, Space Wolves Grey, Burnished Gold and Chainmail... and I plan to add a couple more today... I love having a selection!

Tomorrow's going to mark the 2 week since I called customer service for my gunship and I've yet to receive it, which annoys me to no ends... oh well... all I can do is wait anyway...

Woot, visit from an out of town friend!

I have a friend staying over until thursday at my place, I guess it will be time to lay down the law on those multiplayer games I've been pushing aside.

Also, hopefully I'll get approved for my credit card today and hopefully my replacement parts for my gunship will finally arrive! I just want to build it already ;-;

Addicted

I was more hyped about Disgaea 4 then Space Marines on purchase, but then I started playing Space Marines first, thinking I could just switch to Disgaea whenever... oh boy was I wrong...  I'm only at the end of Part 2 in Space Marines and the game's super addictive, even the online's fun (when I can connect to a match, stupid NAT port being open but not being open).

Eyeshield 21, work and rage.

Each day, I try to watch at least 3 episodes of Eyeshield 21, that anime's actually pretty boss, quite exaggerated but quite enjoyable.

I work the afternoon today at the EB, probably going to be dead and quiet since school started today.  When I went to pick up Disgaea 4 and Space Marines yesterday it was really busy at opening... forgot that Driver: San Fransisco, Dead Island, Resistance 3 and God of War Origins came out that day too D:

On a side note, I hate snail mail... I just want my pieces already to make my gunship ;-;

Yep, so that's what I did with my Labour day. That is all... Oh, played some D&D too... now to get ready for Disgaea 4 and WH 40K Space Marines.

3 days off huzzah!

Not much to say except I'm off for three days (if I don't count wednesday afternoon where I have to work at the EB Games)!

Disgaea 4 and WH40K Space Marines also comes out so I'll have plenty of stuff to do and hopefully, my replacement pieces for my gunship will come in so I can start building that!

Games for the wait

I bought games to help me pass time while waiting for my replacement pieces to come by.

Dead Space was bought mostly for collection purposes, Dead Space 2 is a game I've been wanting to play for a while and Shadows of the Damned looked so good I couldn't resist.

Fully paid off my Disgaea 4 Premium Edition and my Warhammer 40K: Space Marines too, so come tuesday, I got even more games to play! That means.... I only have monday to beat Shadows of the Damned and Dead Space 2... which I have to beat Transformers: War for Cybertron, Record of Agarest War Zero, Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3, Lost Planet, Lost Planet 2, No More Heroes: Heroe's Paradise, and more.... damn, my bag log's getting too big D:

Well....

So, I was pumped to build my gunship as much as I could overnight, but when I got to step 2a, I realised one important thing... the box contained 2 of one piece sheet and missing another one entirely, so I got stuck not being able to build it on the sheer fact that I don't have the bottom of the gunship but twice the side parts :/

I gave a call to customer service when I woke up (like 30 minutes ago) and they solved my problem quickly, didn't try to argue or anything, just asked what the issue was, then my address to send replacement parts to, eta next week on my pieces, but I can't complain, at least, I'm getting them... so what should I do for a week...

Back from Moncton!

So, I ended up being a few things.

I did manage to get my Stormraven Gunship, and I got the Grey Knight codex.  I code some light reading up ahead of me and quite a bit of swearing and assembling.

Going on a shopping trip!

Well, today is my last day off and I decided I'd go on a shopping trip, I want to buy a new mini to build anyway, which is more then likely going to be the Stormraven gunship, if they have it in stock... I'll more then likely buy Shadow of the Damned too, seems like an awesome game :3

Done! Huzzah!

Well, after over a week of working on my minis, I finished my first 5!
The last rush was done watching Cars and Old School, which managed to keep me focus.

Weeeeeh! I'm proud of my first batch!

Sad Night

Tonight was the last time I could hang out with one of my friends, it made me sad... however, she's not going to university far from where I currently live so I'll be able to visit her!

I've continued painting, I'm now done with the Boltgun Metal.

Moving on to the Regal Blue, Skull White and Mithril Rose (Scab Red + Mithril Silver).

Hopefully I'll be done assembling them before the end of this night.

Weekend (for me) begins!

I'm finally done painting the black base on my remaining 3 minis!

Now, moving on to paint the boltgun metal finish.

Dubstep

I know there's many people that hate dubstep, but I personally love it, but then again, I love trance / vocal trance and various house, electro, etc style.

On a Warhammer 40K side note, I decided to go with the Stormraven Gunship if they have it in stock at the store I'll go to, and I'm almost done the black base on my last 3 Rose Knight (Grey Knight).

Break time.

I figured I'd use my break at work to do a post on the blog...

Looking at the possibilities on the Games Workshop website to continue building my Rose Knight (Grey Knight) army, I was pondering between the Stormraven Gunship and the Nemesis Dreadknight...

To be honest, I'm not yet thinking of it as a playable army, I'm only building minis for looks right meow...  So I think I'll go with the Dreadknight, input would be nice in the comment section however.

Oh video games

I kind of put off making my minis since I picked up this game.  I  should at least try to finish the black base on the pieces I got cut out but meh... between Eyeshield 21, Transformers - The Headmasters and my video games, I got a lot of stuff to do and not that much time...

Well, I work tonight so I won't have a chance to do any of that.

Slow time.

I decided to streamline the remaining 3 mini, painting the black base on all the pieces, then the boltgun metal, etc... until all 3 are ready to glue and assemble, so it might take a couple of days before new post relating to WH40K.

Headphone Light Contraption!

Alright, so today, I figured out a way to get light to continue paint, I used my book lights and attached them to my headset [IMG].

With that, I managed to finish building and painting my second mini!

I think the results are a little better then the first, but I'm still no expert painter...

I know I'm not the best painter ever, but I do love the pink I mixed by mistake... The 2 paints I used for pink are linked at the bottom of the post.

At this rate, I'll have my set done soon and I'll have to wait till next pay to buy more D: maybe I should slow down a little.

Anyway, now that I'm done painting this mini, food and video games need to occur.

Lamesauce

So today, after taking a little break from painting, I went to turn the desk light on again on to hear it fizzle out and poof into death.  It seriously hindered my painting abilities since the only other viable light source is in the kitchen and I don't want to move my computer desk there...

I also got a couple of coffee cream thingy to mix my paint in instead of using my cutting board, should save my from having more permanent odd colored stains on the board.

I'm working on a double falchion grey knight right meow, hopefully I'll be able to finish it today!

Well, I think I'll try to keep this up!

What I did on saturday, during the whole like 3 hours I was awake and not at work.

So, I tried mixed some of my paint together, aiming to do a metallic red... I ended up with the pink on my mini right now, which I actually enjoy more then the red I had in mind.  I mixed an odd unmeasured amount of Scab Red to some Mithril Silver, I'm pleased with the results... except I just noticed some areas needed touch up and I don't remember how to exactly make them... Oh well, I'll figure it out when I need to paint again...

Anyway, The weekend's being long, working from 8:30 PM to 7 AM kind of kills everything else to do... but I don't like sunlight anyway, night time is also a perfect time to paint and do minis...

Damn... I just realised I just went up a level in nerd and a couple of level in the anti-social scale...

Meh, I'm fine with it.
